Loki's right speaker isn't working now. ;_; I just got him back from the Hewlette Packard doctors about his socket, now his right speaker's out. I don't want to send him back now... I'll just wait 'till spring break or something. Sometime before his warrantly ends, anyway. ;_; My poor baby.
Nothing too exciting happened. There was less work than I expected at work and afterwards, I went to the Freeman Library with emu and got some comics and got a new library card at long last. :D Then ripped stuff and now I'm downloading stuff finally.
emukatze (11:30:22 PM): *needs to start on Mushishi* Since Zettai Shonen's over.
emukatze (11:30:32 PM): But I'd really rather watch more Zettai Shonen.
LazyEditorLiChan (11:30:47 PM): *feels so behind* ¬.¬ I'm, like... a whole semester behind
LazyEditorLiChan (11:30:50 PM): this is crap
emukatze (11:30:53 PM): XD
So now I'm downloading a lot of stuff. Thank goodness for Newtype for quick updates on what's going on. It really sucks being so far behind.
The new stuff I'm getting right now is Karin, Ginban
Kaleidoscope, and Noein. Black Lagoon looks good, but no one seems to
be subbing it just yet. I seem to be a sucker for assasin shows. ¬.¬

Merry late Christmas!
I'm happy... I got a 60 Gb black iPod named Ian. :D
iPod (Mom and Dad)
iPod case that I don't and am returning... (Mom and Dad)
iPod radio transmitter/charger (Mom and Dad)
bath robe (Mom and Dad)
sword carrying case (Mom and Dad)
D.Gray-man calendar (Mom and Dad)
2 rose-sented candles (Rosalie)
a 2006 wine glass (Holly)
2 scratch offs. I won $2 (Holly)
a vanilla bath gift set (Jessica)
$50 general gift card (Aunt Barbie and Uncle Jene)
a mug with my nephew on it (Monika and Eric)
I absolutely love my iPod.:D He's so pretty.
The case... it was made for the iPod before it, so the cut-out for the screen was too small (iPod video has a bigger screen) and it had a flap that went around where the ear-phones went in. Fortunately, Ian came with a case that's just a little pocket he slips in. I love that one.
I also like my radio thingy. However, I have to use the extension thing and it looks kinda silly. XD But I still love the thing. Also, I can't use the coke holder, but there are four in the front seat area, so it's no huge loss.
And I like all my other presents a lot. :D I just wish the calendar had a pic of Rinali in uniform instead of that dress. I had hoped for another reference for my cosplay, but oh well.
Now I'm bumming mp3s off emu. XD

I'm still having dificulty sleeping and it's pissing me off.
Nothing much happened today besides that I went into work late 'cause I wasn't feeling good. An empty library is creepy. x_x Also, right when I was feeling sad about not getting to do any gift exchanging with anyone besides family members (I generally don't do cards... dunny why, but I guess they just aren't fun like presents are), I get a bunch of things from coworkers, and they were the last bunch of people I expected to get anything from. ;_; Oh well, to late now. But I'll have to do thank you cards now.
I'd've brought cookies, but I stupidly didn't think of putting them in the circulation room until it was too late. I didn't want to put them in the break room because I don't know everyone in the library. Most of the people I actually work with are in the circ room. Ah well, maybe next year.
Also, I've been working on scanning stuff lately for the drawings section of YnA and a few class' margins are up now. I won't be getting much else done for a bit because Mom's demanding that I have my room clean for Christmas. Probably because I'll just make a new mess... but I'm not getting as many things as usual. Normally get get a big thing and a bunch of little things... but this year I'm just getting a big thing an a few medium things. Hardly enough to make a proper mess with. Oh well, Even I'll admit that it's about time to at least pick up a bit. It's gotten to the point where I'm having difficulty finding things. I wanted to finish Mom's cross-stitching, but I can't find the bag with the floss. ¬.¬ It's really annoying 'cause it's almost done, too.
In other news, my little Loki came in this morning. It was kinda funny, though. Last night I recieved the shipping notice and it said that he should arrive at about 10:30 in the morning. Well, I was in that faintly awake state where you're kinda aware of what's going on, but in my case I normally slip back into sleep and don't remember it. Anyway, I heard the doorbell ring and Kobie barking and after a bit of ringing and barking, realized that it was morning and that Loki was supposed to come in the morning and nearly fell the eight feet out of bed and ran to the door. The lady was climbing back into her FedEx truck when I opened the door. XD Loki's power adapter socket's all better and they didn't have to reformat him or anything. :D This makes me happy because I forgot to back up my recent photos, and that includes some of the LA ones. Not all, but I'd still be rather upset.
Conveniently, I also got Mom's present for her. God, next day air is expensive. I don't think I ever want to have to pay for it again.
Hm... Ah, I finished watching the second season of Justice League Unlimited yesterday and man is it dark. It has a lot to do with the alternate Earth and how things on our Earth are starting to follow the same path as that one and the Justice Lords. Of course, everything turns out OK because this is the Justice League we're talking about... but it was very dark compared to the first season. And more plot-based.
And it'd kinda weird that someone was "drawn by [The Question's] eccentric charm."

I like going to Borders. ^_^ I got Norse Mythology: A Guide to the Gods, Heroes, Rituals, and Beliefs by John Lindow and Green Lantern Green Arrow volume 1. We also ate at Cafe Express since it was in the same shopping center and traffic was a pain.
We actually have that book on Norse Mythology at the library, however it's a children's reference book so I can't check it out. ¬.¬ But now I have my own copy. It's a really nice little book. It leaves some things out, but it's still useful.
Anyway, I came home and didn't do much of anything and emu IMed me and asked if I was still coming over to watch AVatar. I assumed slumber party and assumed wrong. XD Avatar's a pretty good series... and it's a Nickelodeon cartoon. This... I find odd. They've been showing crap for a very long time so I just ignored it... Hm. Also, it's one of the few American series that, in my opinion, imitates the anime style well, though it's funny seeing the style with the mouth synced with English. XD
Then I came back and scanned stuff. I scanned my Chinese II and
half my Pre-AP Precal margins. I'm not going in any order... I'm just
grabbing a folder and scanning. Now to watch an ep of JLU season 2 and
climb into bed.

I took my last final this morning and now I'm officially free. :D
Afterwards I tagged along with Mom for a couple of errands, then went home and napped for an hour and ate before I went off to work. I couldn't sleep last night... but I rambled about that in the last post.
Pay day is always good. For the first time in a long time, I got a full paycheck plus extra. XD I'm going to deposit it tomorrow and go to Borders to get a couple of things, then spend the rest on the massive anime DVD holiday sales going on. Sales make me happy.
Though when there's so much on sale that you want all at once... ;_;
Loki will be gone for a week or so. His power-adapter socket on him got damaged a bit when Kobie got tangled in the wire and yanked the plug out of him a while back and since I don't have an immediate need for him, I finally sent him to the Hewlett Packard doctor so he can get his ouchies fixed. :D
Oh yeah, one place we went to while running errands was Target, and I wandered off into the toy department while Mom was getting groceries and found a 10" figure of The Green Arrow. :D I was also amused that the tiny 1" metal figures of the JLU members were all taken... save for an incredibly large amount of The Flash figures. XD He must feel so unloved.
Well, my stomach is growling and it's been a while since I took
my meds, so I'm going to fix some ramen and finally start watching the
first disk of The Big O. I got the series a while ago and I just
haven't been able to sit down and watch any of it.

I can't sleep so what else is there to do? Update my blog. Whoo.
Tomorrow's my last final and then I won't have to worry about school at all until Jan. 17~ I'm not really worried about this final, it's College Algebra... it's the last book of the Prydian Chronicles that's keeping me up. I want to keep reading it. ¬.¬ But I need to go to bed.
As a random note, I finally got my drawing of emu took look somewhat emu-like for the comic and it's been emu-approved, save that I forgot about her bits of hair that try to eat her eyes. I think it could be better, but what the hell. Part of why I'm doing this comic is to develope my art. I know I could do a realistic picture, but for some reason doing anime-esque drawing of other people when I'm trying seems to be hard. Now I just need to develope all the others... though I know what Odin'll look like. And we need to decide on alternate names. emu claims she had a brilliant plan for that when she spent the night last time, but I was already asleep and she was too much of a wimp to try to wake me up. :P
...And emu pointed out that if we were in middle school, we'd all have Japanese names... and that's so true I want to cry. God were we pathetic in middle school and I'm glad that phase ended... -.-; I shudder to think that I was once one of those people who would throw in random cute Japanese in a very high pitched voice just because it was cute.
Now for some random things just because.
You are the warrior anime girl. You are the type
that can start a fight and win.You are very
strong and can beat anyone up (but just don't
^_~) and some people can be afraid of you but
alot of people admire your strength and want to
be just like you well the people that want to
fight. You can defend yourself very easily and
can probably handle some kind of weapon. You
have a short temper(like me)and get angry
easily but you can be really nice at times
^_^and once a fighter always a fighter.

I think I've done this one before, but I'm too lazy to look through my archives to find out.
Backstabber- Why DON'T you JUST take a knife and
KILL ME ALREADY! You have better lose your
attitude or else all that's left is you in the
nursing home eating mungbeans and rice!
Although you may not think everyone knows you
talk about them but they actually do and guess
what....THEY DON'T LIKE IT! Lose it, or lose
your friends....if you have any...

Alright, that aside... Tomorrow is also pay day and I have two 30% off coupons for Borders... I shall get more things with the Green Arrow in them or get some of Preacher. Whatever, it's 30% off.
Mou... now what? I'm hungry and it's already been an hour since I took my medication... maybe I should go fix a bowl of popcorn or something. Being hungry always makes going to sleep harder for me. ¬.¬ Stupid noisy stomach.
But more Valhalla University brainstorming:
Odin: headmaster. He mainly wanders around dressed as a bum and
pretty much lives like one. He wears and eyepatch, but also has a
freaky looking glass eye he occasionary wears. He also knows more than
he should because of his crows and is often seen drinking alchohol from
his hip flask.
Loki: Chemistry. He tends to blow things up.
Heimdall: He hates Loki.
Idun: Takes care of the apple tree on campus, which is closed off with a rent-a-fence, as well as some of the other gardens.
Verdandi: Political science
Hel: ? Her building's seperated from the rest and has a bus made of toenails. Also, on the door there's a box that says "Please deposite nail clippings here"
Jormungand: ? human or snake?
Fenrir: ? human or canine?
It'll be a private college that's rather small and each teacher actually teaches more than one subject, but since the characters are freshmen they only ever see them in these classes. In fact, not all of those listed will teach classes, but will at least have some role on campus. There'll be other's as well, but I won't bother with them right now. I also need to get a nice Norse Mythology book; I did a huge research thing for fun a few years back but that was a few years back. Ah, and there'll be a huge tree in the middle of campus, of course. :D
Also, there's the nameless made-up guy that'll be with the comic versions of emu and me. I think he'll be one of those people with good intentions that tends to execute things badly... a dope. XD He'll be fun.
I think all three will be commuters... but it'd also be convenient for them to be on campus, too. Hm. maybe they'll commute and since there's such a small student population they can crash in an empty dorm when necessary?
Anyway, I'll try to sleep now. For some reason I'm drawing a blank on several of the above characters... Ah well
